I got a red border Cataclysmic from the free chest at the beginning of the raid yesterday. I bet they are extremely rare since I have 23 looted clears and that was my first one from that chest. Spoils has never given me a red boarder outside of the weekly 1st purchase on normal vow. I have spent thousands of spoils.

Over the past year (almost) I have earned 5/5 red border SMGs, 4/5 for the LFR, and 2/5 for both the pulse and fusion rifle. Plus I have been able to purchase Anarchy and Tarrabah.
