ECC started their business life as a creamery for making butter in Ellsworth, WI as Milton Dairy. In 1908, 30 farmers met and formed a cooperative which was made official in 1910. By 1968, ECC had expanded to include four more creameries, with a product line which now included cheddar cheese and our famous cheese curds.
