Granted, they aren't hugely different from each other, and the VHek is pretty much tied to a crit build (or why bother), but both guns are among the better shotguns in the game ...If you are adamant in keeping the random weapons, these are the mods I recommend slotting in to make it so ones from outside your arsenal have a chance to function.
